Synagogue Leader Ends Brazil Crusade With Humanitarian Outreach

Leader of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has ended her evangelical visit to Brazil with a humanitarian outreach to the Colinas do Oeste community in Osasco, São Paulo.

Joshua and the Emmanuel TV team distributed food, clothing, and toiletries to community residents and donated R$50,000 in cash to the vulnerable in the area.

The church said the outreach, held on Monday, September 21, 2026, followed a two-day crusade in São Paulo and formed part of SCOAN’s humanitarian activities aimed to assist communities in need.

In a press statement, SCOAN said the choice of Colinas do Oeste brought its outreach to a community in Osasco, one of Brazil’s major urban and economic centres.

It said the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Osasco, had a population of 728,615 in the 2022 Census, with a per-capita Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of R$163,878.12 recorded in 2023.

SCOAN said that despite the municipality’s economic profile, social vulnerability remains a concern.

It said a 2025 study by the Osasco municipal government’s Department of Social Assistance, based on the federal Cadastro Único and the 2022 Census, found that 262,875 people, representing 36.08 per cent of the municipality’s population, were registered in the database used to identify low-income families and facilitate access to social programmes.

It was against this background that the Emmanuel TV team took the charity outreach to Colinas do Oeste.

Presenting the gifts, Pastor Joshua said the gesture was part of SCOAN’s commitment to reaching people in need and a continuation of the humanitarian legacy of the late founder of the church, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

She said, “I am here today to present these gifts to you from my heart. I want to tell you that I love you all from the depth of my heart. May God continue to bless you,” she said.

The R$50,000 cash donation was received on behalf of the community by Roberto, popularly known as Robertão, a community leader involved in supporting residents and helping families build homes.

The residents who gathered to welcome the cleric and her team expressed appreciation for the gesture.

A resident identified as Adrinana, speaking through an interpreter, described the visit as a moment of joy and said the assistance showed that the community had not been forgotten.
