Three more Nigerians have lost their lives in separate violence incidents across South Africa, according to a statement released on Monday by Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to South Africa, Femi Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode disclosed that the latest killings occurred between September 18 and September 21, 2026. He noted that these recent fatalities bring the total number of Nigerians reported killed in the country this year to 12.
The ambassador-designate condemned the attacks and assured that diplomatic efforts are underway with South African authorities to investigate the killings, hold the perpetrators accountable, and protect Nigerian citizens residing in the country.
