Niger NSCDC Tragedy: Shettima Announces N250m Support For Bereaved Families

Vice President Kashim Shettima has announced N250 million to support the families of 37 personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Niger State Command who died in the incident.

He made the announcement at the Government House in Minna when he paid a condolence visit to the government and people of the state over the incident.

Shettima, who described the incident as unfortunate, said the Federal Government shared the pain of the bereaved families.

He reiterated that the Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, remained resolute in its obligation to protect every citizen without distinction or exception.
