Ngozi Ezeonu raises alarm over fake medicines, baby food in Nigeria

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu has raised concerns over the circulation of fake products in Nigeria, particularly medicines and baby food.

In a video shared on her social media page, the actress warned about the growing presence of counterfeit and potentially harmful products in the country.

Ezeonu expressed concern that fake medicines, baby food and other consumer products could pose serious risks to children, families and unsuspecting consumers.

She urged Nigerians to be extremely careful about the products they purchase and consume, stressing the need for people to pay closer attention to what they bring into their homes.

Her warning comes amid ongoing concerns over the circulation of substandard and falsified products in the country.

“I don’t understand what’s happening in this country anymore. When you go to hospitals, you see young people dying with kidney problems, liver problems, because everything is fake!”.
