2027: INEC Declares Nami As PDP Governorship Candidate In Niger State

 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Malam Muhammad Nami as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State.

Nami name was among the 15 candidates whose names were published at the INEC headquarters, those cleared to contest were Alidu Mohammed of AAC, Mohammed Kpautagi ADC, Idris Mohammed ADP, the incumbent Mohammed Umaru Bago of APC, Mohammed Adamu APGA,

Others were Abdulmalik Saidu Akpayi APM, Bello Isah Mohammed APP, Mohammed Usman Labour party, Mohammed Yahaya Adam NDC, Sani Alfa NDP, Adamu Ibrahim PRP, Mohammed Ndarani SDP, Umaru Larat Aliyu YPP, Kolo Mohammed Aminu YPP

Amid Jubilation among the supporters of Nami following a press statement released by the Muhammad Nami Media Directorate at the weekend in Minna, Niger State the supporters expressed joy.

The statement reads: “The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published its final list of gubernatorial candidates for the February 6, 2027 governorship election and listed Mallam Muhammad Nami as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State.

“This development authenticates the candidature of Mallam Muhammad Nami as the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and clearly shows that he is not affected by the recent judgment obtained by INEC at the Supreme Court.

“By this development, all supporters of Muhammad Nami are urged to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in the ongoing PVC collection exercise being carried out by INEC in readiness to vote for the candidate of the PDP as Governor of Niger State in the 2027 General Elections, to put Niger State back on the track of progress and greatness.

Some of the supporters interviewed reiterated that contrary to the expectations of the ruling APC in the state the INEC has met the aspirations of the people of the state ,

Mohammed Baba one of the supporters of assured that insisted Nami is coming, and Niger State shall be great again.
