The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed an ‘alarming incident’ involving a local physician, Ismail Usman, from Kuchibuyi Village within the Kubwa space of Abuja, who by accident shot himself whereas testing a self-made ‘bulletproof’ appeal.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, November 23, 2024, left the herbalist hospitalised with extreme gunshot accidents.
In response to an announcement launched by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, Usman tried to check the efficacy of the appeal by capturing himself within the abdomen with a selfmade shotgun. Sadly, the appeal failed to guard him, leading to life-threatening accidents.
