The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Financial system has formally introduced the 2025 version of the Construct-A-Thon Vacation Camp, a hands-on tech studying expertise geared toward equipping Nigerian kids with foundational digital expertise.
The camp is scheduled to start on Monday, August 4, 2025, and is open to kids aged 10 to 18 years.
Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Financial system, Dr. Bosun Tijani, made the announcement through his X (previously Twitter) deal with, encouraging mother and father and guardians to register their kids for the tech-focused summer time program.
“From Monday, 4th August, we’re inviting kids aged 10 to 18 to spend their holidays studying, constructing, and bonding with friends from throughout Nigeria,” Dr. Tijani mentioned.
In accordance with Tijani, the Construct-A-Thon is among the ministry’s flagship initiatives to introduce Nigerian youth to STEM expertise reminiscent of coding, robotics, and the Web of Issues (IoT).
“Our hands-on periods, DIY kits, and know-how labs will empower these younger minds with the abilities to form their futures. Past studying, it’s an area for teenagers to attach, collaborate, and be impressed collectively,” mentioned Dr. Tijani.
