Cooking fuel costs throughout Nigeria have seen important variations in latest months.
The most recent information from the Nationwide Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reveals the ten most cost-effective states to buy Liquefied Petroleum Gasoline (LPG) as of August 2025.
The report reveals a common month-on-month (MoM) decline in costs in comparison with July 2025, reflecting a modest reduction for households amid ongoing cost-of-living considerations.
The common retail worth for refilling a 12.5kg Cooking Gasoline decreased by 21.42% on a month-on-month foundation from N20,609.48 in July 2025 to N16,195.07 in August 2025, the NBS information reveals.
On a year-on-year foundation, this rose by 4.13% from N15,552.56 in August 2024.
