Cooking fuel: 10 states with the bottom worth per KG

Cooking fuel costs throughout Nigeria have seen important variations in latest months.

The most recent information from the Nationwide Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reveals the ten most cost-effective states to buy Liquefied Petroleum Gasoline (LPG) as of August 2025.

The report reveals a common month-on-month (MoM) decline in costs in comparison with July 2025, reflecting a modest reduction for households amid ongoing cost-of-living considerations.

The common retail worth for refilling a 12.5kg Cooking Gasoline decreased by 21.42% on a month-on-month foundation from N20,609.48 in July 2025 to N16,195.07 in August 2025, the NBS information reveals.

On a year-on-year foundation, this rose by 4.13% from N15,552.56 in August 2024.
