Nigeria Affiliation for the Blind (NAB) Niger State Chapter has sought inclusion and made a case for the Fee for the Bodily Challenged within the state.
The chairman of the affiliation Hamza Salihu made the enchantment whereas talking with LEADERSHIP in Minna yesterday. He decried their plight and known as for inclusivity.
He mentioned that some states within the north have domesticated legal guidelines relating to the fee for the bodily challenged, however most states, together with Niger State, have but to determine such a fee.
Salihu who was talking towards the backdrop of the ” worldwide white cane day for the blind” advocated for the rights and dignity of individuals with visible impairment.
He mentioned that with the fee to cater for the bodily challenged, there can be promotion of entry to high quality schooling, vocational coaching and employment alternatives for them.
