Man Charged For Harassing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Police in the United Kingdom have charged a 39-year-old man, Alex Jenkinson, for allegedly threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

 

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday night in Wolferton, Norfolk, following reports of intimidating behaviour in the village. According to the Norfolk Constabulary, Jenkinson faces two counts of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words to cause harassment, alarm, or distress.

 

He was also charged with failing to provide a specimen of blood while in police custody.

 

A spokesperson for the Norfolk Constabulary confirmed the arrest, stating that officers were called to the scene shortly after 7:30 pm. The suspect was initially detained on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon.

 

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, 66, currently resides at the Sandringham estate, where the incident reportedly occurred.

 

Jenkinson, a resident of Suffolk, has been remanded in custody and is expected to appear before the Norwich Magistrates’ Court to face the charges.
