Adamawa Assembly Invites Commissioner- Nominee Leneke For Screening

Adamawa State House of Assembly has received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke, from Demsa local government area, for screening and confirmation as commissioner.

Leneke’s name was sent to the Assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a letter addressed to the lawmakers and read at the plenary presided by the speaker, Bathiya Wesley.

The speaker directed the clerk to invite the nominee to appear before the Assembly today with his curriculum vitae for screening.

Leneke is hopeful of replacing former commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr James Iliya, who resigned from Fintiri’s cabinet to contest for the House of Assembly election to represent Demsa local government area of the state.
