Students of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) have emerged winners at the final round of the National Mathematical Centre Olympiad competitions.
The students clinched first positions in both the Biology and Mathematics Olympiads.
Among the top performers, Muhammad Maina Yahaya secured first place in the Biology Olympiad, while Oghenetejiri Esemitodje emerged as the overall winner of the Mathematics Olympiad.
Following their exceptional performances at the national level, both students have now earned the prestigious opportunity to represent Nigeria at major international academic competitions later this year.
Oghenetejiri Esemitodje will represent the country at the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad scheduled to hold in Shanghai, China, while Muhammad Maina Yahaya will participate in the International Biology Olympiad 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The school management praised the students for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence, describing their achievements as a source of pride for Nigeria and an inspiration to young scholars across the country.
