BBNaija Star Phyna Apologises After False Alarm Over Arrest Incident

Former BBNaija star, Josephina Otabor, better known as ‘Phyna’, has released a video apologising to Nigerians and the police over claims she made about her cameraman’s arrest.

Earlier, the former Big Brother Naija winner alleged that men in uniform had taken her cameraman and laptop bag. She shared a video of the vehicle involved and recounted the incident.

However, in a follow-up video, Phyna said the matter had been resolved. She clarified that the men were police officers from Ajah Police Station and not kidnappers as initially feared.

According to her, her cameraman was arrested after officers allegedly found a small quantity of a substance on him. She thanked the officers and the Divisional Police Officer for their handling of the case.

While some fans have accepted the clarification, others have criticised her earlier remarks. Several social media users urged her to verify claims before making them public. Some reactions were also critical of her handling of the situation.
