He told the delegation that the people of the FCT support the crusade and would ensure its success as the closest authority to the people in the FCT. He pledged to attend the crusade.
Meanwhile, the courtesy visit was to extend a formal invitation to the monarch on the crusade holding in Abuja between 24th and 25th June 2026 at the Deeper Life Bible Church, Kado, Abuja, by 5 pm and the 26th and 29th June, 2026 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception itreceived at very short notice. It said the crusade would bring a dramatic change in people’s lives and solutions to their challenges, as God would Kumuyi, to reach out to them during the event.
The leader of the delegation and state overseer of the church in the FCT, Pastor Edison Daminabo, commended the monarch for over three decades of peace in his community and entire domain.
Meanwhile, others in attendance at the palace during the courtesy visit include the Palace Council members, District and Village Heads.
The highlight of the visit was a powerful prayer offered by Daminabo, for the king, his community and the entire chiefdom for more grace, protection, peace, more years, and sound health in the discharge of his responsibilities.
The Sa’Peyi expressed his gratitude to the delegation for recognising his domain at all times when such programmes were scheduled. He stated that as a traditional leader, he was for all – Christian, Muslim and traditionalist.

He called on leaders to do the right thing and ensure the people have access to basic infrastructure that will ameliorate their plight; said they should accept the preaching of clergy members to change the current narrative in the country; and urged religious leaders to keep praying for the country and its leaders.
