The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports circulating online claiming that the party has released the official list of successful candidates from its 2027 primary elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ruling party described the reports as false and misleading, stressing that no official list of winners has been published.
The disclaimer was signed by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, and shared through the party’s official communication channels.
According to the party, any publication, notice or report suggesting that the outcome of the primaries has been officially announced should be disregarded.
“The public is therefore advised to disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorized,” the statement said.
The APC clarified that the process for announcing successful candidates remains ongoing and will follow the party’s established procedures.
It explained that all successful candidates would first be formally notified through official party channels before the issuance of Certificates of Return.
The party further urged its members, stakeholders and the general public to rely only on verified APC platforms for accurate information regarding its internal electoral processes.
