‘They Want To Take My Baby’ – Celynukam Alleges Abuse, Threats From Estranged Fiancé

Nigerian content creator Celynukam has accused her estranged fiancé of emotional abuse and intimidation, claiming she has been threatened with having her newborn child taken away.

In a series of posts shared on her Instagram Story, the new mother alleged that she has been solely responsible for caring for her baby following a Caesarean section.

Celynukam said she no longer feels safe in Lagos, alleging that her former partner had threatened to forcefully take custody of the child and relocate the baby to another country.

“As a nursing mother, my life is currently not safe in Lagos. After getting a caesarean section and taking care of my newborn all alone, they would threaten to come break down my door and take away my child to another country if I don’t do this or that,” she wrote.

The content creator further suggested that she had endured emotional distress throughout the relationship and expressed fears for her safety and that of her child.

Her claims have sparked reactions on social media, with many users expressing concern over her allegations and calling for support for the new mother.

As of the time of filing this report, her estranged fiancé had not publicly responded to the allegations.
