US singer Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to affray in connection with a confrontation at a London nightclub in 2023.
The 37-year-old entered the plea during a brief hearing at Southwark Crown Court on Friday, which lasted less than five minutes.
Brown’s co-defendant, rapper Omololu Akinlolu, better known by his stage name Hoody Baby, also pleaded guilty to the same charge.
Following the guilty pleas, prosecutors dropped the assault and grievous bodily harm (GBH) charges that both men had denied. A separate charge accusing Brown of possessing an offensive weapon was also withdrawn.
The case stems from an incident at a London nightclub in 2023 that led to criminal proceedings against the pair.
Judge Tony Baumgartner adjourned the case and fixed sentencing for October 26, 2026.
