Controversial street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been disqualified from his celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in Lagos.
The bout, tagged “Unfinished Business” and held on Friday at the Balmoral Convention Centre, ended in chaos after Portable walked out of the ring before the end of the first round.
Addressing his followers in a video shared on his social media page on Saturday, Portable accused his opponent of resorting to biting and illegal tactics during the fight rather than adhering to boxing rules.
Despite Portable’s claims of dominating the opening moments, fight officials declared Charles Okocha the winner by disqualification following the interruption.
