NYSC Releases 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment, Issues Travel Advisory

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment of prospective corps members for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation course and warned them against travelling at night to their respective orientation camps, while also directing them to resolve any discrepancies in their graduation dates before reporting for registration.

The scheme announced the deployment on Monday through its official Facebook page.

“2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment has been released,” the NYSC stated.

It advised prospective corps members to check their deployment status and begin preparations for the orientation exercise, stressing that they should avoid night travel for security reasons.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised not to travel at night to the Orientation Camp,” the scheme said.

The NYSC also warned that prospective corps members whose dates of graduation on their call-up letters differ from those on their Statements of Results would not be registered at the orientation camps.

“Prospective Corps Members with discrepancies in the Date of Graduation on their call-up letters and the date on their Statement of Results will not be registered in the Orientation Camp,” it stated.

The scheme urged affected prospective corps members to resolve such discrepancies through their respective Student Affairs Officers before reporting to camp to avoid registration challenges.

It further directed all prospective corps members to print and sign the required form and present it during registration at their orientation camps.

Meanwhile, the NYSC outlined the procedure for correcting errors relating to dates of birth on its registration portal.

According to the scheme, prospective corps members seeking to correct their dates of birth must first obtain a 19- or 20-digit WAEC verification PIN before submitting a request through the portal.

Applicants are required to log in to their dashboards, click on the “Correction of Date of Birth” link, enter the WAEC verification PIN and provide details of their examination type, examination year and examination number.

After completing the required information, applicants should click the verification button and then select either “Submit” or “Cancel” to complete the process, the scheme said.
