APC Mobilises Youths For Tinubu, Ododo In Kogi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State has mobilised thousands of supporters in a one-million-youth march for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The rally, held in Okpo on Saturday, brought the commercial town to a standstill as party supporters, youth groups, religious bodies and residents trooped out in support of the APC administrations at the federal and state levels.

The convener of the rally and state commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, said the mobilisation was a demonstration of the people’s support for Tinubu and Ododo.

Anyebe said Olamaboro residents had resolved to vote massively for APC candidates in the 2027 elections, citing the performance of the Tinubu and Ododo administrations.

He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the party in the local government and across the state.

The Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mrs Comfort Egwuaba, commended the organisers, saying the mobilisation had promoted unity and solidarity among the people.

Governor Ododo, represented by the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Alhaji Umar Ali Yusuf, assured the people of Igala Kingdom of his administration’s continued commitment to their development.

Ododo urged the people to support APC candidates in the forthcoming elections, saying such support would sustain development in Kogi State and Nigeria.

The governor also commended Anyebe for his efforts in mobilising support for the APC in Olamaboro and across the state.
