Celestial Church Launches Investigation Into Death of Actress Temitope Osoba

The Celestial Church of Christ has begun a discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, following allegations involving her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko.

The church announced the development in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Head of Media and Publicity Worldwide, AVSE Kayode Ajala, as questions continue to surround the 40-year-old actress’ final moments.

According to the church, it is particularly concerned that one of its shepherds has become connected to the controversy and that the allegations have also brought the name of the church into the matter.

“For us in the Celestial Church of Christ, we are quite sad that a promising life has been cut short in its prime,” the statement said, adding that the church shares the grief of Osoba’s family and loved ones.

It continued: “As a church, we are already discreetly investigating the circumstances that led to the death of Temi.”

The church also sought to distance its doctrine from allegations involving practices such as idolatry, black magic, cultism and the use of charms.

“At this point, we wish to make it clear that the Celestial Church of Christ is a Christian Bible-believing religious church. Our worship is divinely inspired. There is absolutely no room for idolatry, black magic, cultism, and the use of charms in our” statement read.

The circumstances surrounding Osoba’s death remain the subject of investigation, while the allegations involving her fiancé have not been established as fact.
