Meghan Markle Could Return To Acting After Reported UK Move

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, could return to acting following reports that she has been offered a role in an upcoming UK production.

According to Australian outlet news.com.au, the reported acting opportunity could be one of the factors behind Meghan and Prince Harry’s plans to return to Britain, with their children expected to begin school there in September.

The report claims Meghan has been offered a part in a “top secret” UK project, although no details about the production or her potential role have been confirmed.

Entertainment reporter Bronte Coy, who broke the story, described the reported offer as a “key part of the puzzle” behind the Sussexes’ return.

“I’m told it’s significant, and she’s very excited about it,” Coy said, adding that details could emerge soon.

Meghan was best known for playing Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits, appearing in the series for seven seasons before leaving the show in 2018 following her marriage to Harry.

She recently made a return to acting with a cameo as herself in the upcoming comedy Close Personal Friends, which stars Lily Collins and Brie Larson.
