The candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded governorship election in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This was confirmed on Friday by Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, in a post on X.
While sharing a video of the meeting, Dada wrote “President Bola Tinubu meets in audience Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, the governorship candidate of the APC in the recently concluded Osun State gubernatorial elections.”
Oyebamiji’s visit came days after he lost the election to Governor Ademola Adeleke, who contested on the platform of the Accord Party.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat Oyebamiji, who secured 444,815 votes. The governor won 19 of the state’s 30 local government areas, while the APC candidate won 11.
