Kogi Diaspora Congratulates Faleke On APC 2027 Election Appointment

Kogi indigenes in the Diaspora have congratulated the lawmaker and political strategist, James Abiodun Faleke, on his appointment as the Deputy Director-General, Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, in a statement issued by the president, Kogi in Diaspora, Seyi Olorunsola, described the appointment as a demonstration of President Bola Tinubu’s confidence in Faleke’s political experience, organisational capacity and leadership ability.

Olorunsola said the appointment was a well-deserved recognition of Faleke’s track record and a strategic decision to deploy his experience in strengthening the party’s electoral machinery.

He said Faleke had demonstrated his ability to plan, coordinate and execute complex electoral assignments, adding that his contributions to the success of the APC in the 2023 presidential election remained evidence of his commitment and effectiveness.

“What he accomplished in 2023, we are confident he will deliver even more successfully in 2027,” the statement said.

The group expressed confidence that Faleke would bring his political intelligence, grassroots understanding and organisational experience to bear on the APC’s preparations for the 2027 elections.

It also pledged its support for the new assignment, saying Kogi people in the Diaspora were ready to contribute their legitimate resources, connections and capacity towards the success of the party.

Olorunsola said the appointment came with responsibilities requiring experience, strategic thinking and commitment, which he said Faleke was adequately equipped to handle.

“As we march towards 2027, Kogi in Diaspora remains united, mobilised and committed to the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC and the Renewed Hope agenda,” he added.

The group further expressed optimism that Faleke’s appointment would contribute to the APC’s efforts to secure victory in the 2027 elections.
