Johnny Drille Reveals How He Kept Marriage To Rima Tahini Private For Years

Nigerian singer and songwriter Johnny Drille has opened up about his relationship with his wife, Rima Tahini, revealing that they met while working at Mavin Records.

Speaking on The Right Hand podcast, Drille reflected on how the couple managed to keep their relationship out of public view for several years.

The singer said they began dating around November or December 2018, but kept their relationship private until they publicly revealed it in July 2023.

According to Drille, maintaining the secrecy surrounding their relationship required considerable effort, particularly as their careers kept them in the public eye.

He revealed that they had already married before publicly announcing their relationship, saying their wedding took place about a year and seven months before the announcement.

Reflecting on their journey, Drille acknowledged that keeping the relationship private was not easy but said he remained grateful that his time at Mavin Records led him to his wife.
