Nollywood actress and influencer Nimmy Ferrari has reportedly died following an alleged fibroid operation, just days before she was expected to hold the housewarming ceremony for her newly completed home in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The sad development was shared by some of the actress’ colleagues on social media. One of them revealed on Snapchat that Nimmy had been preparing to celebrate the completion of her house and was looking forward to officially opening it.
Her reported death has since triggered an outpouring of grief from colleagues, friends and fans, particularly as she was said to have worked hard to establish herself and was beginning to gain more recognition in the Nigerian movie industry.
One tribute also described her reported passing as especially painful, recalling that Nimmy had recently paid tribute to veteran actor Ogogo following his death, only to reportedly lose her own life shortly afterwards.
Meanwhile, claims circulating on social media allege that Nimmy Ferrari was laid to rest in the same newly completed house in Sagamu where she had reportedly been preparing to host her housewarming ceremony.
Details surrounding her reported death and the alleged surgery have yet to be independently confirmed.
