Former Big Brother Naija star Chidimma Esther Okagbue, popularly known as Bella, has issued a legal notice demanding N2.5 billion in damages from her former partner, Segun Olusemo, also known as Sheggz.
In a formal document released through her legal representatives, Okagbue accused Olusemo of physical assault, emotional and psychological torture, verbal harassment, and attempted murder during their relationship.
The document cites specific incidents, including an alleged October 2023 assault in which Okagbue was reportedly confined against her will. The filing included text messages sent to Olusemo’s mother requesting her intervention so Okagbue could leave the residence.
The breakdown of the financial demands includes N2 billion for physical, emotional, and psychological trauma, N500 million for breach of promise to marry, and special damages totalling N19.8 million and £10,237. Okagbue’s legal team also demanded a full retraction of allegedly defamatory statements made by Olusemo and a formal public apology.
