Suspected Bandits Kill 3 Members Of Kaduna Vigilance Service

Suspected bandits have ambushed and killed the deputy commander and two other members of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) in Zuntu town, Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

A security source told LEADERSHIP on the telephone that the incident occurred last Sunday night when the assailants attacked them while on patrol in the area, pursuing the bandits who were terrorising part of Zuntu.

“It was an unfortunate incident. Three of them were ambushed and killed. They got a report that bandits were terrorising part of Zuntu town. The vigilante members were attacked when the bandits discovered that they were closing on them”

A top security officer who confirmed the incident but pleaded anonymity stated that, “It was true three of them were killed by suspected bandits”
