Radda Congratulates AbdulRazaq, Naufal on Traditional Titles

Katsina State governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Kwara State governor and chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the director-general of the Katsina State Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (KATDICT), Naufal Ahmad, on their conferment with prestigious traditional titles.

In separate statements issued on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the governor described both honours as well deserved and a recognition of exemplary leadership, innovation and selfless service.

Radda congratulated AbdulRazaq on his turbaning as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate, describing the title as one of the most revered in the Emirate and a symbol of courage, loyalty and trust.

He said AbdulRazaq has consistently demonstrated those qualities through his leadership in Kwara State and as Chairman of the NGF, adding that his commitment to unity, peace and people-centred governance continues to inspire colleagues across the country.

The governor also commended the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for honouring a leader whose contributions have impacted both Kwara State and the nation.

Similarly, Radda felicitated Naufal Ahmad on his conferment as Gamzakin Katsina, saying the title reflects his dedication to advancing the state’s digital transformation agenda.

He noted that under Ahmad’s leadership, KATDICT has strengthened technology-driven public service delivery, promoted digital skills and expanded opportunities for young people in technology and innovation.

The governor urged the new Gamzakin Katsina to regard the honour as a call to greater service with humility and dedication.

While thanking the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, for recognising young professionals contributing to the state’s progress.

Radda prayed for Almighty Allah to grant both recipients greater wisdom, strength and continued success in their service to humanity.
