LEADERSHIP Award One Of Greatest Honours Of My Life – Ochacho CEO

The chief executive officer of Ochacho Group, King Mohammed Adah, has described his selection as the 2026 LEADERSHIP Private Sector CEO of the Year as one of the greatest honours of his life.

Adah stated this while responding to the presentation of the award notification by the management of LEADERSHIP Group, saying the recognition was particularly meaningful because it acknowledged not only his efforts but also the contributions of the company’s workforce.

He expressed appreciation to LEADERSHIP for the honour, saying the award would further strengthen his resolve to sustain the company’s contributions to Nigeria’s economic and social development.

According to him, Ochacho has, since 2017, continued to create employment and business opportunities for Nigerians while expanding its operations across different sectors.

He disclosed that the company currently works with more than 3,000 people daily, including over 1,000 permanent employees across Nigeria and London, in addition to workers engaged at various project sites.

Adah attributed the growth and achievements recorded by the company to God, while acknowledging the dedication of members of his workforce.

He said the recognition would encourage the company to do more in creating opportunities, sustaining its operations and contributing meaningfully to the development of the country.

The Ochacho boss also formally accepted the invitation to the award ceremony, saying he would attend the event alongside his family, associates and friends.

Presenting the award notification, the vice chairman of LEADERSHIP Group, Mr Mike Okpere, said Adah was selected for the Private Sector CEO of the Year award following the organisation’s annual assessment of achievements and contributions across Nigeria.

Okpere said the award recognised Adah’s innovative approach to real estate and his efforts towards widening access to property ownership through flexible payment structures, digital platforms and youth-oriented marketing strategies.

He said the initiatives had helped make property acquisition more accessible to a wider segment of Nigerians.

The formal investiture is scheduled to hold on December 1 at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
