Adamu Unveils New Campaign Office As SDP Deepens Nasarawa Mobilisation

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Nasarawa State election, retired Inspector-General of Police, Muhammad Abubakar Adamu, has commissioned a new campaign office in Adogi Electoral Ward as part of efforts to deepen the party’s grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election.

The campaign office, donated by 6 to 6 Jonah Yakubu Adogi, was commissioned on Thursday, September 24, 2026, adding to the growing campaign structure of the IG 2027 Movement across the state.

The development comes days after Adamu distributed motorcycles to ward coordinators and vehicles to the campaign’s Director-General and other directorates to strengthen mobilisation and facilitate campaign activities across Nasarawa.

Speaking during the distribution of the vehicles and motorcycles, Adamu said the motorcycles would enable ward coordinators to effectively carry out their responsibilities and reach more communities.

“For our staff in each ward, today we will give motorcycles so that it will help them carry out their tasks,” he said.

Adamu also disclosed that vehicles were provided for various sections of the campaign organisation, including the women’s wing, medical team, mechanics and operations.

“All of these are brought to help with the campaigns. If we continue, we will see other areas that need campaign items, which will also be provided,” he said.

The newly commissioned Adogi campaign office is expected to serve as a grassroots mobilisation and coordination centre for the SDP as the party expands its campaign structure ahead of the 2027 Nasarawa State governorship election.

The commissioning underscores the campaign’s ongoing efforts to establish a stronger ward-level presence and improve coordination of its activities across the state.
