Taraba Judicial Commission Promotes 516 Staff, Confirms Appointments

The Taraba State Judicial Service Commission (TRSJSC) in its  126th meeting presided over by Justice Joel Agya, Chief Judge of the state, on Friday  adopted the promotion of 516 judicial staff.

In a statement issued by Mr Useni Galadima, secretary of the commission and made available to Newssmen in Jalingo, the council also confirmed appointments of several senior Judicial officers, who have been  holding positions in  acting capacity as substantive officers.

According to the statement, the commission has adopted promotion of the staff  at its 125th  and  126th meetings.

“The  commission confirmed the appointment of Mr Useni Galadima as  secretary TRSJSC, Mrs Victoria Babas as Deputy Chief Registrar High Court and Mr Mohammed Loto, Director of Area Courts.

“The commission also confirmed  Hajiya Habiba Barde as Director of Litigation of the High Court and Malam Muhamoud  Lamu as director of personnel in the JSC among others.

“The commission also announced the appointment of Mr Uruku Garba from an  assistant director to the position of director of Finance in the JSC.

“It also approved an inter agency transfer of Gilenya Lakodoron from state Post Primary Schools Management Board to the JSC as registrar. (NAN)
