Usher Recruits Former Sean Combs Staffers For R&B Tour

Usher has brought several former members of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ inner circle into his camp as he continues his global R&B Tour with Chris Brown.

At least three people who previously worked for Combs have joined Usher’s touring operation. They include former Combs Enterprises chief of staff Kristina Khorram, a former personal assistant and a videographer who had been involved in a documentary project with Combs.

Khorram’s exact position with Usher has not been disclosed, although she is reportedly involved with the singer’s 56-date tour. Usher’s representative declined to comment, while a representative for Khorram did not respond to requests for comment.

The development comes amid the continuing fallout from Combs’ criminal case. Khorram was described by prosecutors as having been involved in alleged activities surrounding Combs’ operations, but she was never charged with a crime. She has previously denied allegations that she assisted or enabled sexual assault.

Combs was acquitted in July 2025 of racketeering conspiracy and sex-trafficking charges but convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. He was sentenced to 50 months in prison.

Usher’s Longstanding Connection To Combs

Usher’s professional relationship with Combs dates back to the early 1990s, when Combs mentored the young singer during the development of his debut album.

Earlier this year, Usher said he preferred to acknowledge Combs’ contribution to Black entrepreneurship and music rather than focus solely on his controversies.

The former Combs personal assistant has since left Usher’s operation, while the videographer reportedly remains connected to the tour after previously working with Combs on a documentary.
