The Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has settled the medical bills of four journalists who were involved in a road accident in Efue, Asa local government area of the state.
He also provided cash support to journalists recuperating at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH) in Ilorin.
The journalists involved in the auto accident are Aiyelabegan Abdulrasaq of Just Event Online Publications (JEO), Saeed Tijjani of 9jaParrot, Umar Umar of Trove Online Media, and Isiaka Ahmed of Trove Online Media.
The senior special assistant on Communications, Ibraheem Abdullateef, delivered the governor’s message to the journalists.
The accident occurred at Adabata Efue along the route to Alapa when the Toyota Sienna carrying the journalists lost its balance and somersaulted.
