Harry And Meghan Criticise Photographers Spotted Near Children’s School

Prince Harry and Meghan have criticised the conduct of two photographers who were reportedly seen near the school attended by their children, Archie and Lilibet.

The couple’s spokesperson described the incident as an unacceptable breach of the children’s privacy, saying the photographers had no legitimate reason to monitor activity around the school.

The two men were reportedly seen carrying backpacks and walking around the school perimeter, stopping at different points and looking towards the grounds. They were later seen returning to a van, which police established was a rental vehicle.

School staff and the family’s private security team reportedly noticed the men, with police later identifying one of them as an international press photographer believed to work for a European media agency.

“The decision by photographers to conduct themselves in this way around a school is extraordinarily reckless,” the couple’s spokesperson said.

The representative stressed that there was a distinction between legitimate media activity and photographers positioning themselves around a school while observing children.

Harry and Meghan returned to the UK with their two children last month after spending six years living in California.

The couple have previously expressed concerns about their children’s privacy and exposure to media attention.
