Hollywood Star Jim Carrey Marries Longtime Girlfriend Min Ah After Vowing Never To Wed Again

Hollywood actor Jim Carrey has married his longtime girlfriend, Min Ah, years after publicly declaring that he did not see himself walking down the aisle again.

The 64-year-old Ace Ventura star and Min Ah tied the knot in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, with Carrey’s representative confirming the news.

The marriage marks Carrey’s third union, coming nearly two decades after he stated he would likely not marry again following two previous divorces.

Carrey and Min Ah had largely kept their relationship out of public view despite being seen together as far back as 2022. They made their official public debut as a couple in February 2026 at the César Awards in Paris, where Carrey received an honorary award.

During his acceptance speech at the awards, the actor publicly acknowledged Min Ah, stating:

“I love you, Min Ah.”

The marriage represents a notable change of position for Carrey. Speaking in a 2008 interview while dating Jenny McCarthy, Carrey said:

“Although I probably won’t get married again. If you’ve done it twice, you really should stop doing it.”

He repeated a similar position during a 2014 appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show:

“I just don’t see it as necessary, at this point.”

However, Carrey added at the time:

“I can’t say that I know how I would feel if I meet somebody that knocks my head off.”

Carrey was married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, and they have a daughter, Jane. In 1996, he married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly, a marriage that ended the following year.
