Twin Sisters, Medical Professionals, Die 2 Days Apart

A set of twin sisters, both medical professionals, have died two days apart, leaving their family, colleagues and associates mourning the tragic loss.

The deceased were identified as Dr Hadiya Usman, popularly known as Hassana, a medical doctor, and her twin sister, Dr Aidah Usman, known as Usaina, a Doctor of Pharmacy.

Hadiya reportedly died on Friday, while Aidah died on Sunday, two days after the death of her twin sister.

The sisters were the twin daughters of Dr Hadiza Usman, a former Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State.

Their deaths have triggered an outpouring of condolences from relatives, friends, colleagues and associates, who described the loss as a painful blow to the family and the medical community.

However, the circumstances surrounding the deaths were not immediately disclosed as of the time of filing this report.

Mourners have continued to offer prayers for the repose of the souls of the deceased and strength for the family to bear the loss.
