Yobe Gov Buni Appoints Six Focal Persons For Key Development Sectors

Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of six new Focal Persons to coordinate and facilitate government activities in key areas of development and strategic engagement.

A statement issued by the Media Coordinator/Liaison Office of the SSG, Ibrahim Baba Saleh said the appointments were conveyed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Mohammed Goje.

The newly appointed Focal Persons are Saleh Zangi Yusufari, Focal Person on Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE); Babagana Modu, Focal Person on Integrated School Enrolment; and Mohammed Yunusa (Assalafy), Focal Person on Maritime Partnership and Engagement.

Others are Mohammed A. Maina, Focal Person on Consumer Protection and Market Regulation; Garba Gambo Jawa, Focal Person on Nomadic Education; and Mohammed Zannah Abba, Focal Person on Private Sector Resource Mobilisation.

The appointments which are with immediate effects are expected to strengthen coordination, enhance stakeholder engagement and facilitate the implementation of government initiatives across the designated sectors.
