Benue: Kwande APC Stakeholders Loyal To Akume Back Tinubu, Sen. Udende, Ugbor’s Re-election

The Kwande All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders loyal to Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume have backed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, senator representing Benue North East, Emmanuel Udende and member House of Representatives representing Kwande/Ushongo federal constituency, Terseer Ugbor in 2027.

In a communique signed by the drafting committee team, Prof. Terwase Dzeka, Dr. John Pever, Amande Msughter and other stakeholders who attended the meeting in Adikpo, said the stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively for the success of the All Progressives Congress in Kwande.

The stakeholders expressed confidence that the party would record massive electoral victories across the local government in the 2027 elections.

According to the communique, in his opening remarks during the meeting, Terlumun Akputu highlighted the progress made by the APC and the contributions of those entrusted with the people’s mandate in the 2023 elections.

He particularly eulogised the contributions of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, to the development of Kwande, as well as his efforts in facilitating the appointment of several sons and daughters of Kwande into the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Akputu explained that Kwande stakeholders had consulted extensively with the leadership of the party in Abuja and within Benue State and had arrived at a position which they had now brought before party leaders and stakeholders for consideration, with the objective of strengthening the APC and ensuring victory for the party in the 2027 elections.

“The party had resolved to work for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the re-election of Senator Emmanuel Memga Udende to the Senate, and the re-election of Hon. Terseer Ugbor to the House of Representatives, in order to ensure that Kwande remains strategically represented and positioned to have a strong voice in the next administration” Akputu stated.
