A political support group, New Dawn Network, has endorsed governorship aspirant Kale Kawu ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in Kwara State scheduled for May 27, 2026.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by Funsho Amodu, the group praised Kawu’s commitment to community development across the 16 local government areas of the state.
The group said Kawu’s interventions had positively impacted thousands of residents through projects funded from personal resources and driven by humanitarian service.
Describing him as “a man who refuses to let the impossible win,” the organisation commended his leadership style and dedication to improving lives.
According to the statement, Kawu’s interventions cut across critical sectors including energy, healthcare, education, youth empowerment and infrastructure.
The group highlighted his solar power projects, saying several communities now enjoy improved electricity supply in homes, schools, markets and rural areas.
It also noted that Kawu had supported vulnerable residents through the payment of hospital bills and provision of essential drugs.
On education, the group said the aspirant had awarded scholarships to thousands of students across the state, helping to expand access to learning opportunities.
The statement further credited Kawu with creating jobs and skills acquisition opportunities for youths, while also supporting the construction of roads and bridges in rural communities.
“Kale Kawu has shown that leadership is not about titles or public funds, but about compassion, competence and the determination to serve humanity,” the group stated.
