Heather McComb, the actress and ex-wife of the late Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek, has remarried. The 49-year-old wed actor Scott Michael Campbell, 54, on Saturday, May 30, in an outdoor ceremony in Missoula, Montana.
McComb announced the news on Instagram, sharing that the couple exchanged vows under a religious covenant, officiated by her sister, in front of a gathering of close family and friends. “Our hearts are full and humbled by all of the love that we were surrounded by,” she wrote.
Photos from the ceremony, captured by Dennis Webber Photography, showed McComb in a lace-embellished wedding gown complete with a long train, veil, and cross necklace, while Campbell wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants and black tie.
The celebration featured an expansive bridal party, with 13 friends standing alongside the bride and 12 groomsmen supporting the groom.
McComb described the weekend as “truly magical,” crediting guests for making the occasion so special. She was previously married to Van Der Beek from 2003 to 2010.
