Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London, for his outstanding contributions to education, humanitarian service and global faith outreach.
The recognition, announced by the cleric on Sunday through his official X account, has attracted widespread attention among Christians and admirers, highlighting decades of his leadership and community impact across several continents.
Sharing the news, Kumuyi expressed gratitude while stressing that his mission remains focused on evangelism despite the international recognition.
Recognition celebrates global impact
Kumuyi wrote, “I received an Inclusion Letter from the World Book of Records, London, @ WBRLONDON. Humbled by this recognition, my focus remains unchanged: winning souls for Christ.”
He added, “Through five years of #GCK, God enabled us to reach over 50 million lives and see more than 900,900,000 saved. All glory to God alone!”
According to the inclusion letter signed by the organisation’s Chief Executive Officer, Santosh Shukla, the honour was awarded under the Excellence (E1) category for Kumuyi’s contributions to education, visionary leadership, humanitarian service and global outreach.

The World Book of Records stated that the E1 category is reserved for individuals whose achievements and service set benchmarks across academic, professional, social and humanitarian fields.
Kumuyi is the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, convener of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi and Chancellor of Anchor University, Lagos.
The recognition adds to his long-standing influence in Christian ministry, education and humanitarian initiatives, with many supporters congratulating him on the international honour.
