Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has criticized politician and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore following remarks made against his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The clash began after Sowore, the flagbearer of the African Action Congress (AAC), appeared on News Central TV and questioned Governor Adeleke’s intellectual capacity and leadership in Osun State, claiming the governor “has nothing upstairs.”
During the interview, Sowore further alleged that Governor Adeleke was not in control of his administration, claiming that family members were running state affairs behind the scenes.
Reacting to the interview via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Davido fiercely defended his uncle, publicly calling Sowore an “arindin”, a Yoruba derogatory term for a fool.
