Hoodlums suspected to be ritualists on Friday beheaded a 38-year old deaf woman identified as Susuti Denhan, and escaped with her head in Girei local government area Adamawa State.
The suspects were said to have gruesomely murdered the woman, a resident of Unguwan Abuja in Girei local government area and left with her head, leaving behind the body.
Police alongside members of the family and sympathisers yesterday recovered the body of the girl from the mountains.
The incident came barely a week after the killing of a woman identified as Aisha of Bagale community in Fufore LGA in a hotel in the local government area.
The state police command had not commented on the incident at press time yesterday.
