As Muslims worldwide observe the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has extended his warmest felicitation to the faithful and other Nigerians.
He said Eid-el-Maulid “reminds us of the timeless virtues exemplified by the Prophet”, adding that at this challenging moment in “our national journey, these values offer Nigerians a pathway to healing, unity and renewed hope.”
Yilwatda urged Nigerians to see the country’s diversity not as a weakness, but as a source of strength. “As we approach another electoral season, we must reject division, intolerance and violence. No political contest should destroy the bonds of brotherhood and national unity that bind us together,” he said.
He called on the Muslim Ummah to use this blessed occasion to pray for lasting peace, security, prosperity and wisdom for our leaders, noting that despite “our challenges, Nigeria remains a nation of immense talent, resilience and promise.
“May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, bless our families and communities, protect Nigeria and guide our leaders with wisdom and courage,” he added.
