Obi Is An Institution In Nigeria – Hon Nkole

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Abia North in the 2027 election, Hon Uko Nkole, has said the presidential candidate of the party, Peter Obi is an institution in Nigeria.

‎Nkole stated this while reacting to an assertion that Obi’s campaign activities are not yet felt in the state during an interaction with newsmen in Umuahia, the state capital.

‎The former member for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency described the onetime Anambra State governor as a well-known and respected person with impeccable credibility.

‎”It’s shocking to hear that Obi and the NDC are nowhere to be found in Abia State, because the larger picture is His Excellency, Obi. And he’s running.

‎”He’s not running for governorship election in Lagos or Anambra State. He’s running an election that cuts across the entire 469 federal constituencies.

‎”I mean 109 senatorial districts and 360 federal constituencies. And at the last count, NDC fielded 100 senatorial candidates out of 109,’ he said.

‎On internal democracy in the NDC, he noted: “I emerged victorious during the May 29th NDC National Assembly primary elections to represent Abia North in the Senate.

‎”So, I’m the standard bearer for Abia North under the platform of the NDC, the youngest and the fastest-growing political party in the black world.’
