Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has paid a heartfelt tribute to award-winning actress Joke Silva as she marks her 65th birthday, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
In a message shared on his verified Instagram page, RMD praised Silva’s pioneering contributions to the Nigerian film industry and reflected on their professional journey and friendship spanning over 40 years.
RMD also acknowledged her ongoing grief following the recent passing of her husband, iconic actor Olu Jacobs, who died on September 16, 2026, at the age of 84.
Describing Silva as a pillar of grace and dedication, RMD commended her lasting influence on the creative arts and prayed for comfort for her and her family during the mourning period.
