Barack and Michelle Obama have marked 34 years of marriage with affectionate tributes to each other on social media.
Barack Obama shared a photo of the couple, writing: “Happy anniversary, @MichelleObama! I’m still the luckiest guy in the world to be with you.”
Michelle Obama also celebrated the milestone with a compilation of photos and videos from their relationship, including moments from their 1992 wedding, their years in the White House and more recent moments together.
“Loving you just keeps getting better and better!” she wrote, wishing Barack “many, many more years of joy, laughter, and memories to come.”
The couple married in Chicago on October 3, 1992, after meeting in 1989 while working at the law firm Sidley Austin.
They have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
