The APC-Democrats of Nigeria has congratulated the re-elected Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, describing his victory as a reflection of the confidence and trust the people of the state have in his leadership.
The group also commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) Election Committee for its role in the poll, praising the committee’s chairman, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, and co-chairman, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, for what it described as strategic coordination and commitment that contributed to the party’s success.
Chairman of APC-Democrats of Nigeria, Hon Moses Owharo, in a statement on Friday, said Governor Oyebanji’s renewed mandate was an endorsement of his administration’s achievements in infrastructure, economic development, investment promotion, youth empowerment and human capital development.
Owharo, who also serves as Director of Diaspora Affairs and Co-Secretary of TLEGATES-PSC, expressed confidence that the governor’s second term would consolidate ongoing reforms and further position Ekiti State as a model of good governance and sustainable development.
According to him, the governor’s inclusive leadership style and commitment to delivering democratic dividends earned him overwhelming support from the electorate.
Looking ahead, Owharo called on APC leaders, stakeholders, support groups and members across the country to remain united ahead of the Osun State governorship election and the 2027 National Assembly and presidential elections.
He urged party faithful to sustain grassroots mobilisation and support the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing optimism that a united APC would strengthen national development, deepen democratic governance and enhance economic reforms.
The APC-Democrats of Nigeria wished Governor Oyebanji a successful and impactful new term in office, expressing hope that his administration would continue to deliver meaningful development for the people of Ekiti State.
