Saka Defends Funke Akindele’s Strict Approach To Work

Nollywood actor Saka, born Actor Afeez Oyetoro, has defended filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele against claims that she is overly strict on set, saying her approach is understandable given the scale of her productions.

Speaking in a recent interview, Saka praised Akindele for the way she treated him while working with her and described her as a humble professional who takes her work seriously.

According to the actor, managing a production worth millions of naira requires discipline and an unwillingness to compromise on standards.

He dismissed suggestions that Akindele has a bad temper, explaining that she has no problem with people who do what is expected of them.

Saka said the filmmaker does not tolerate laziness or unnecessary distractions when she is working, but becomes playful when it is time to relax and have fun.

He added that he has nothing against Akindele and advised people who are not prepared to work hard to think twice before joining her productions.

Saka said Akindele’s demanding nature ultimately reflects her commitment to getting the job done properly.
